MUM's Cheongsams

My mother will celebrate her 74 birthday in the new year. These cheongsams belong to her. They are such vintage pieces, ranging from 25 years to 50+ years old, some of which she worn as a young bride at age 20. Rich colours, beautifully tailored .... these are just some that are shown here. They are in 3 lengths - full-length for those formal night functions, above-calf length for the day-into-evening wear, and the short above-knee for the young and shapely. The short ones are in small size only.

It's countdown days to end 2006, how the year has flown! It's been quite an experience manning this blog and I've enjoyed it, thanks to the support from all of you.

This lot will be the last of 2006 updates. Hope you'll wear them during the year-end parties and holidays!! :)

Recently been busy clearing house for my mother who is moving house. She has a whole lot of vintage cheongsam and evening gowns ... looking for new owners, so I may post a few here in the new year. Watch out for them.
